The semi-bushland setting of this proposed 3-bedroom house at Hardys Bay on NSW’s Central Coast comprises a sloping site with rock outcrops and some remnant spotted gum forest.

The main part of the house is two storey sitting where an existing small cottage will be demolished. The elevated rear bedroom pavilion floats over the rock outcrops linked by an enclosed bridge.

This layout maximises views and cross ventilation whilst sitting comfortably on the site. Rainwater tanks, solar hot water and provision for photo-voltaics enhance the sustainability.
